Trauma-Informed Experiential Therapist
-
Part-time or full-time | W-2 Employee | Murray, Utah | $40–55/hour
Radiant Mind Wellness is a person-centered, trauma-informed private practice specializing in experiential psychotherapy. We believe healing occurs through authentic relationship, creativity, curiosity, and respect for each person's innate capacity toward growth. We value the opportunity to help clients reconnect with themselves through relational, expressive, and embodied approaches to therapy.
We're a collaborative, values-driven group practice serving children, adolescents, and adults, and we're seeking an additional therapist whose clinical philosophy aligns with ours.
We welcome clinicians from a range of trauma-informed, experiential, and expressive approaches — including EMDR, somatic psychotherapy, sandtray therapy, clinical art therapy, drama therapy, dance/movement therapy, expressive arts therapy, attachment-focused therapy, trauma and dissociation-informed treatment, clinical hypnosis, play therapy, child and adolescent work, and other experiential modalities consistent with our philosophy. Applicants do not need experience in every area, though we do ask that any specialization you name reflects genuine clinical training in that area.
-
Current Utah licensure (ACMHC, LCMHC, CSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, or equivalent)
Foundational trauma competency
Alignment with expressive and creative work — art, play, sandtray, etc. — as a central language of therapy
Willingness to provide in-person services in Murray, with some virtual sessions as needed
Availability for at least two evening and/or weekend time slots per week to serve child and adolescent clients
Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed clinical practice
-
Provide individual therapy to your own caseload of clients — children, adolescents, and/or adults, depending on your training and our needs
Practice from a person-centered, attachment-informed perspective, using relational, expressive, and embodied approaches
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation consistent with our standards and payer requirements
Participate in clinical supervision and/or consultation as appropriate to your licensure
Collaborate with our team and contribute to a supportive, creative practice culture
Optionally engage in community wellness programs, group work, blogging, and other creative outlets that help prevent burnout
-
Competitive W-2 compensation: paid per clinical session, $40–55/hour depending on licensure and experience, with additional pay for administrative responsibilities
Flexible scheduling: in-office, remote, or hybrid options tailored to fit your life
Administrative support: billing, credentialing, scheduling, and more, so you can focus on client care
Professional development: in-house supervision, individual and group consultation, paid CEU stipends and funded advanced training opportunities (full-time), and group training
Diverse clinical opportunities: individual client work, community wellness programs, group work, and other creative outlets
Supportive team environment: a collaborative group of creative, experiential therapists passionate about growth
Employee wellness: paid time off (full-time), a steady client base, and 401(k)
-
This role is perfect for you if you:
Are drawn to relational, experiential, and trauma-informed work
Are comfortable working beyond purely cognitive interventions
Value creativity, embodiment, and nonverbal expression in healing
Want to build a sustainable, meaningful practice within a supportive team
Care about collaboration, consultation, and lifelong learning
This role may not be the right fit if you:
Prefer a purely directive, protocol-driven approach to therapy
Aren't looking to invest in a practice's culture and growth over time
Would rather work in isolation than as part of a collaborative team
Part-Time Clinical Supervisor
-
As our clinical team grows, we're seeking a seasoned, independently licensed clinician to join us in a part-time clinical supervision and consultation role. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who loves developing other therapists — offering both the formal supervision that supports associate clinicians toward independent licensure and the day-to-day consultation that helps a whole team practice with depth and confidence.
Preference will be given to clinicians with training and experience in child and adolescent therapy — particularly Child-Centered Play Therapy or Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credentialing — as this is a specialty we are actively deepening. That said, we are seeking a supervisor who can support the full range of our clinical work, not child work alone.
Interested in also carrying a small clinical caseload? For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to combine supervision with a modest caseload of your own — let us know and we're happy to discuss it.
-
Required
Independent Utah licensure (CMHC/LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, psychologist, or equivalent), held for at least two years
Is, or is eligible and willing to promptly become, a Utah Division-approved clinical supervisor — including any required supervision-specific training
Active clinical practice and strong grounding in trauma-informed, relational therapy
Commitment to ethical, developmentally attuned supervision
Strongly Preferred
Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and/or formal Child-Centered Play Therapy training
Prior supervisory or mentorship experience
Experience supervising graduate student interns
Familiarity with expressive and experiential modalities (art therapy, sandtray, EMDR, somatic approaches)
-
Working alongside our Clinical Director, you would provide:
Clinical supervision for associate clinicians (ACMHC, CSW, AMFT) accruing hours toward independent licensure, including serving as supervisor of record on DOPL supervision contracts
Clinical consultation and case support across the team — for newer clinicians developing core skills, and for experienced clinicians working with complex presentations
Support for both child/adolescent and adult clinical work
Supervision and mentorship of graduate student interns as our training program grows
We anticipate this role beginning at roughly 6–12 supervision work hours per month, with room to grow as our team expands and as we broaden our practicum and internship training program. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
-
W-2 employment with a defined, flexible schedule of monthly supervision work hours
$55–70/hour, depending on credentials and experience
401(k)
Professional development support, including funded advanced training
A collaborative, values-driven team that genuinely cares about clinical depth
The opportunity to help shape and expand our clinical training culture — including growing our practicum and internship program, which we're excited to build alongside the right supervisor
Supervision and consultation alongside a Clinical Director who shares your investment in developing strong, relationally grounded clinicians
-
This role is perfect for you if you:
Love supporting the development of other clinicians
Are grounded in relational, attachment-informed, trauma-aware practice
Can meet a new student or associate where they are, and also support a seasoned clinician to go deeper
Want a flexible, part-time role that can grow with a values-driven practice
This role may not be the right fit if you:
Prefer to focus solely on your own caseload
Are looking for full-time hours right away (this role starts part-time)
Would rather work independently than collaborate closely with a clinical team
