Gain confidence and find lasting anxiety relief.
Do you constantly feel overwhelmed by all the responsibilities on your plate?
Are you characterized by people-pleasing, perfectionism, and overcompensation?
Does it seem like self-doubt is your primary source of motivation in life?
Maybe you’re a high-achiever who appears to have it all together—you’re always in “go, go, and go” mode and continually adding to your list of accomplishments. Yet deep down, perhaps you’re plagued by feelings of emptiness and insecurity. You’re worried about what others think of you and feel guilty whenever you rest or take time off. Although you’re used to masking your anxiety, perhaps you’ve grown tired of hiding your struggles. As a result, you might be thinking of connecting with a therapist who specializes in treating anxiety.
Are You Tired Of Trying To Mask How Stressed You Are?
Chronic Overachievement Can Quickly Lead To Burnout And Exhaustion
One of the hallmarks of anxiety is that it tends to be characterized by extremes—you’re either living at a thousand miles per hour or not moving at all. Periods of overwork and overextension are often followed by periods of burnout and exhaustion. After a while, you can become so tired of being busy 24/7 that you just want to isolate and shut out the outside world. You might turn down social invitations and neglect your relationships, since maintaining all your obligations just means extra work and extra stress.
You don’t have to keep living in this cycle of overwork and burnout. At Radiant Mind Wellness, our specialists are trained and equipped to help people of all ages reduce their stress and live more vibrant and empowered lives. We provide therapy for children, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, so whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, we are confident that we can help.

Anxiety Is A Natural Part Of Being Human—But Sometimes It Spirals Out Of Control
All of us want to experience safety and relief. It’s part of being human. So it’s only natural that we experience anxiety, since anxiety is a survival mechanism that helps us stay safe and alert to danger. In fact, anxiety isn’t always a bad thing—a little anxiety can help you be extra prepared for that big soccer game, that important job interview, or that grade-saving test.
That said, for many people in our society today, anxiety has spiraled out of control. While anxiety can be helpful when it’s, say, at a 5/10, it can become self-sabotaging when it’s at a 10/10 and starts to consume your life. It’s all about striking a healthy balance. And in counseling, you have a chance to work with trained specialists who can help you regulate your anxiety levels so that they don’t become all-consuming.
In America Today, Hustle Culture Has Turned Anxiety Into An Epidemic
We live in a society that’s ruled by the idea of the American Dream—it seeps into every corner of our consciousness and impacts our lives in ways we aren’t even aware of. When we’re young, we’re told that if we just work hard and pull ourselves up by the bootstraps, we’ll be happy and successful. Once we reach adulthood, this bubble usually bursts and leaves us feeling like failures.
Hustle culture only reinforces the problem, encouraging us to juggle more than we can handle and work till we drop. And social media increases our perfectionistic struggles by creating a “compare-and-despair” culture that makes it seem like everyone else is successful except for us. So it’s no wonder so many people in America suffer from anxiety and self-doubt. We are plagued by unrealistic expectations, which is why the need for self-compassion is greater than it’s ever been.
Therapy Can Help You Reduce Your Anxiety And Live A Balanced, Meaningful Life
No matter how anxious you feel, it’s possible to find relief, clarity, confidence, and connection. Many of the clients we see say they feel disconnected from their authentic selves—They’ve been people-pleasing and living in survival mode for so long that they aren’t connected with who they really are.
At Radiant Mind Wellness, our mission is to help clients reconnect with their authentic selves and live in alignment with their values. Our therapists utilize mindfulness, art therapy, and a wide range of evidence-based approaches to foster deeper insight and create healthy outlets for anxiety. We provide a balanced, holistic path toward healing, focusing on how clients can reduce stress in their bodies, reframe negative thoughts, and build confidence and constructive behavior patterns.
Since we offer therapy for children, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, our treatment process varies depending on each client’s age and needs. For parents or legal guardians seeking help for their children, we ask that they’re present for the first session so that everyone can be on the same page regarding treatment.
No matter how old the client is, however, the first step of counseling is always centered on creating a supportive therapeutic relationship. The goal is to give you a safe space where you can express your story freely and feel seen, heard, and understood for who you are. Once that’s established, we’ll focus on building and developing coping skills. After all, we often tell clients that they are already in the middle of their movie—our goal is to catch up to where they are and give them the tools to navigate the rest of their story. We teach skills rooted in mindfulness, grounding, and self-regulation, enabling clients to soothe their stress and maintain present-moment awareness.
Once clients are sufficiently resourced with strategies for self-regulation, we can begin the deeper work of exploring the root causes of their anxiety and looking at long-term goals for therapy.
What To Expect In Anxiety Therapy Sessions
Tailoring Our Approach To Anxiety Treatment
All of our counselors are also trained as Clinical Art Therapists. We specialize in providing a safe space for creative expression, helping clients explore their feelings and experiences through many artistic mediums and avenues. Art therapy is not about teaching art—it’s about creating a safe and supportive space to access the creative healing potential within all of us.
Many clients also benefit from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a trauma-informed approach that several of our clinicians are trained in. EMDR can help you address any underlying trauma at the root of your anxiety and equip you with resources for managing your anxiety outside of sessions.
Ultimately, we hope that our uniquely individualized approach to therapy can empower you to break out of survival mode, overcome people-pleasing behaviors, and start living a more balanced and meaningful life. We want to help you move from fear and self-doubt to resilience and self-acceptance, enabling you to live with more pep in your step and more confidence in who you are.
You May Have Some Concerns About Anxiety Therapy…
-
This is an investment in you and your mental health, and you are worthy of healing and support. The skills you learn in anxiety therapy can benefit you for years to come, leading to better sleep, better relationships, and better overall health. We’ll work with you to find a schedule and payment plan that works for you, ensuring that we add to your growth and not your overwhelm. We understand that trying therapy again can feel daunting if past experiences didn’t lead to change. The good news is that our integrative, trauma-informed approach uses expressive arts therapy in addition to evidence-based techniques to create a path toward healing that’s tailored to you. If something didn’t work for you in the past, we’d like to know so that we can help you create meaningful change this time around.
-
Anxiety that’s been with you all your life is often related to something deeper, such as a traumatic experience that took place in early childhood. If your focus is on healing your pain, you need to go deeper into the wound, and that’s what therapy gives you a chance to do. Your therapist can help you kindly and creatively explore how you can heal from earlier stuck points and life events.
