Join Heroes Within – An Art Therapy Group for Kids 8 - 12
Thank you for your interest in Heroes Within! This in-person art therapy group supports kids in exploring emotional expression, confidence-building, and resilience via creativity, imagination, and storytelling in a supportive group environment.
Using the metaphor of the “hero,” kids are invited to create characters, symbols, and stories that reflect both their challenges and their strengths. Through guided art-making and playful reflection, participants practice emotional expression, problem-solving, and self-confidence while connecting with peers in a safe, structured setting. No prior art experience is required—curiosity is welcome.
Important note for caregivers:
Because this is a clinical therapy group for minors, a brief parent or guardian consultation call is required prior to final registration. This call allows us to review informed consent, confidentiality, group structure, and therapeutic goals, and to ensure the group is a good fit for your child.
Group Details
Dates: January 12 – March 9, 2026
Day/Time: Mondays, 4:00–5:00 PM
Location: Radiant Mind Wellness (in person) — 111 E 5600 S, Murray, UT 84107
Ages: 8–12
Cost: $35 per session (insurance accepted)
Materials Provided: All art supplies included (2D & 3D materials)
Parent/Guardian Involvement: Brief caregiver consult required prior to final registration
